I am a Filmmaker, Writer, and Artist from South Central Los Angles. I am a Ghetto Film School alumni as of 2016 and studied Film/Video, and Literature at Bennington College from 2016 - May 2020. During my time at Bennington College, I was able to look into different modes of storytelling in film like Documentary and Experimental filmmaking. These modes really allowed me to incorporate these different approaches and combine them in my work while knowing how to tell a cohesive story using each separately and helped me a lot when I decided to create “The Body Project”. At Bennington I also was able to discover that I was really interested in making work that has an impact and will make a difference in the film industry and socially. While subject matter definitely is important to me in the work I create, I am also concerned with creating work that incorporates people from diverse backgrounds in my writing, and casting (when I have control of that). My passion and drive for filmmaking comes from the desire to make a change in the world with the work I create and from the fact that it has always just been a fun and inspiring way to express myself and to see others do the same.

Apart from film making, I really enjoy cooking and baking as a way to bring people together and have definately been trying to make a good loaf of bread. For context, my last one somehow went from tasting like toast to tasting like dish soap.
